Integrated Security Systems Engineer - Bristol / Southwest - £26,000 - £33,000 (OTE: £40,000 - £45,000) + bonuses, benefits
Concept Resourcing have a huge opportunity available to work for a leading organisation within the fire & security sector. We are recruiting for an Integrated Security Systems Engineer to join their national high securitydivision where you will be field based working across Bristol, Plymouth, South Wales and down to Exeter providing service support for both corrective and routine maintenance functions to the complex high security systems.
Who would you be working for?You would be working for a market leading organisation in the design, development, supply, installation, commissioning and through life servicing of intricate systems in commercial properties and public sector organisations.
What are they looking for from an Integrated Security Systems Engineer?
As an Integrated Security Systems Engineer, you will be field based, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. You will be required to service and maintain verticals such as IP CCTV systems, Access Control Panels, Perimeter systems and Networking.
The duties to be carried out by an Integrated Security Systems Engineer include:* To repair, maintain and service high security systems in accordance with company procedures, engineer guidelines and specificsystem requirements.
* Ensure all standards and codes of practice are adhered to when commissioning high security systems.
*To ensure that all working areas on site are left in a clean and tidy state.
* This is a client facing role so you must ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the installation, maintenance, and service visits prior to leaving site.
* Ensure that relevant documentation is fully completed accurately (timesheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims).* To ensure that all Company property is used and maintained in the proper manner (including special tools, Ladders and Companyvehicle where appropriate).
* To be available for standby and call out rota as required within your region.
* Ensure compliance with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety instructions (PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, RAMS).
* May berequired to work outside of normal geographic business unit area to provide sickness, holiday and workload cover.
* You will be required to attend sites and carry out regular maintenance of high security alarm and detection systems and carry out any relevant fault finding on client sites.
Personnel
* Ideally you would have a relevant qualification in the electrical/ Electronic industry. Alternatively, be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge through an assessment.
* Experience of working in a field-based position.
* Good standard of IT skills. (Computer Literate).
* Proven Customer Service experience.
* IPAF, ECS,CSCS, Safety Passport holder or similar would be beneficial.
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to demonstrate good technicalknowledge in at least two of the following disciplines: CCTV, Intruder, Access Control & Perimeter systems, Networking
* Experience of fault finding and servicing Security Systems.
* Must be able and willing to participate in out of hour's standbyand call out rota.
Hours of work
* Monday to Friday: 39 hours per week. (Flexible)
* Call out rota:
* 1 week in 4* Paid at £150 per week of standby on top of basic.
