Refrigeration & A/C Service Engineer - Essex based - £25,000 - £35,000 /annum + bonuses and benefits.
We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer looking to grow their skills and join an organisation who will provide you with great training and ongoing career opportunities. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in the Refrigeration sector and have a good understanding of air conditioning systems, such as freezers, chillers, VRF/VRV and split systems. You will be given the opportunity to eventually work on your own covering a very regional patch looking after refrigeration systems for our blue-chip and high street commercial chains such as NHS, Universities, hospitality, restaurant outlets, hotels, commercial offices, and leisure.WHO? You will be working with a small but growing organisation who offer a full consultancy servicefrom initial designs all the way through to the installation, commissioning, decommissioning, maintenance and service of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. They aim to create the perfect environment for their customers, improve energy efficiency and reduce running costs.
WHAT? Are they looking for from a Service Engineer?
* Must some experience as a Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will need to be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
* A high level of interpersonal skills -good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports.
* You will be confident in your own ability.
* Be willing to learn and take onboard from Senior Engineers
* You will be flexible to assist with call out rota, and if required out of normal working hours service.
* You will beflexible and open to work on all types of mechanical systems where required.
* Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a"can do" attitude.
* Full Driving licence
* Within 45 minutes commute of Southend-on-Sea
HOW? Will you be working?
*Working on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration, and air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems.
* Working on a wide variety of centralised controllers, control panels and refrigeration controls/ electrical circuits.
* Commission of large VRF/VRVAND split air conditioning systems.
* Able to read drawings and schematics.
* Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
* Liaise closely with the projects department and company directors on a day-to-day basis.
* Coordinate and control Service works on site.
* Where required liaise closely with the clientto maintain excellent stakeholder relationships.
* Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements.
* Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response (this is currently 1 in 16)
