Description:
The Lead Quality Engineer will ensure robust manufacturing process controls, compliance with the QMS, and support for NPI processes. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilize quality tools and statistical techniques, andmentor Quality Engineers.
You will:-
* Resolve quality issues in Manufacturing and identify root causes.
* Manage the workload of improvement projects.
* Mentor and guide the development of Quality Engineers.
* Lead Quality activities in the NPI process and integrate Quality into product design.
* Implement preventive control measures for product quality.
* SupportFMEAs and generate Process Control Plans.
* Conduct or review risk assessments and support safety reviews/meetings.
Requirements:
* Right to live and work in the UK, with minimum 5 years residency (SC level clearance eligibility).
* HNC orBTEC level 5 equivalent in engineering or chemistry.
* Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
* ISO9001:2015, TS16949, or similar experience.
* Knowledge of Component Inspection Techniques, 5S Lean, and NPP processes.
* Working knowledge of Supplier Development/SQA (advantageous).
* Proficiency in Statistical Analysis (Minitab) and MS Office.
Salary;£45,000 - £52,000
