Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing company based in the Corby area. The maintenance Engineer will be working on aMonday - Friday double-day pattern.
This is an exciting and varied role working within an environment full of complex machinery and diverse engineering challenges.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
- The Engineer will complete reactive andpreventative maintenance on fast-moving production machinery.
- The Maintenance Engineer will work from a CMMS (Computerisedmaintenance management system) in close collaboration with the production leaders and Maintenance team leader to maximize machine efficiency and minimize both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.
- The Maintenance Engineer will be involvedin improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.
- Attend daily team support meetings where necessary and relay feedback on issues relating to maintenance to the operating teams.
The Successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- The successful Maintenance Engineer will be confident in resolving complex mechanical and basic electrical issues and will have previous demonstrable experience of doing so.
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained OR qualified to ONC/HNC level or higher.
- The Maintenance Engineer MUST have previously worked within amanufacturing environment maintaining production machinery.
Shift Pattern:
6 am - 1:30 pm (one week)
1:30 am -9:00 pm (one week)
