Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our fast paced manufacturing company based in the Milton Keynesarea.
The maintenance Engineer will be working on a Monday - Friday Night shift (10:00pm to 6am)
This role will see thesuccessful candidate working primarily on preventative maintenance and improvement actions during a time where the majority of production is not running. This role will partner with an Electrically biased Engineer and as such there is a preference towardsMechanically biased Multi skilled.
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
- Provision of maintenance on fast moving manufacturing machinery.
- Responsible for Mechanical and basic electrical repairs.
- Completing preventative maintenance on medium to heavy machinery including Presses, rolling mills, paint line and fabrication.
- Maximise machine efficiency through the implementation of preventative actions which have been identified by the Maintenance planning manager.
- The Multi skilled maintenance engineer will be involved in improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.
The Successful Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- The successful Maintenance Engineer will be Mechanically biased, multi skilled.- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained or qualified to ONC/HNC level or higher.
- The Maintenance Engineer MUST have previously worked within an manufacturing environment.
50,000 per annum
22:00 - 06:00 Monday to Friday - shift pattern.
25 days holiday and bank holidays
