Our class leading manufacturing business based in the Thrapston area with a wider national and international presence is looking to recruit an additional Engineer within our maintenance team. The successful electrical Maintenance Engineer will be joining a friendly, dynamic Engineering department with the aim of minimising production downtime and maximising machine reliability.
The Maintenance Engineer duties are:
- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on high speed manufacturing machinery.
- Lead electrical problem solving on a production line to a robust engineered resolution.
- Administration of the CMMS (Computerised maintenance management systems) to track routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Lead and implement small improvement programs to increase machine and production line efficiency.
- Attend team support meetings where necessary to communicate ongoing maintenanceengineering issues.
The Maintenance Engineer Candidate:
- The successful Maintenance Engineer will be electrical biaswith mechanical skills, knowledge and understanding.
- The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be apprentice trained, City and Guild level 3 or qualified to ONC/HNC level or above.
- Must have previously worked to maintain machinery within a production /Manufacturing environment.
Shifts - 4 on 4 off - 12 hour shifts / Days and nights
Salary - £44,000 per annum
