As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced production machinery. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and carrying out improvements. With a proactive approach to problem-solving, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability ofour operations
The Maintenance Engineer role:
* Utilize your technical prowess to identify and resolve issues with production machinery
* Execute reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
* Demonstrate your quick thinking and troubleshooting skills when attending to breakdowns on site.
* Take an innovative approach to fault-finding, constantly seeking ways to enhance machinery performance.
* Drive improvement initiatives by implementing upgrades and optimizations to machinery and site facilities.
* Maintain accurate records in the daily engineering report log, ensuring comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities.
The successful Maintenance Engineer:
* Showcase your multi-skilled capabilities with a formal engineering qualification at NVQ Level 3 or higher, specialising in electrical engineering.
*Leverage a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience to bring a depth of expertise to the role.
* Demonstrate your up-to-date knowledge and compliance with industry standards by possessing 17th or 18th edition certification.
* Proven experience working within the food industry, with a strong understanding of its specific engineering requirements.
Shift Pattern:
Nights,4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7am
Salary: £41,383
