Maintenance Engineer - Northampton
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food production company based in Northampton. The role will involve carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on various machinery and equipment during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting planned preventative maintenance on production equipment andutility systems during night shifts
* Responding to breakdowns and faults and carrying out repairs in a timely manner
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and automated system issues
* Carrying out installation work and commissioning new equipment
* Ensuring maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations
* Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation
* Liaising with production teams to minimize equipment downtime
The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance experience within a food production environment, along with knowledge of working on electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. A flexible approach to working nights on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern is essential.
