THE ROLE:
- Your key responsibilities will be to provide engineering support to ensure performance of production machinery on all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Electrical includeS; Variable Speed Drives (VSD's), Inverters and preferably, Siemens Control systems(programming / modification)
- Mechanical: Gearboxes, bearings, belts, motors...
- General Continuous Improvement activities; spotting area's of the site and manufacturing area's to improve, creating solutions and implementation.
- Project based work which may require you to travel to other sites in the group.
THE CANDIDATE:
- The successful Time Served / Apprentice trained Engineer will need to be qualified and able to understand engineering/electrical drawings.
- You will be a logical thinker, with an autonomous approach to resolving issues and faults, a self-starter with the ability to prioritise urgentor non-urgent work. You must be a team player with sound interpersonal and enjoy being part of a small close-knit team.
- The Maintenance Engineer will preferably have experience within a manufacturing environment and automation machinery. but other industries (including ex-Forces) can be considered
