Position: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical/Mechanical
Location: Poole, Dorset,United Kingdom
Shift: 2s and 3s (Days and Nights)
Responsibilities:
* Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities on production machinery to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to swiftly restore operations.
* Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting,and repairs on a variety of production equipment.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop strategies for improvingmachinery reliability and performance.
* Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
* Strong proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair faultseffectively.
* Familiarity with carrying out PPM schedules and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as partof a team in a dynamic environment.
* Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
