A progressive agricultural business in the north Tipperary area is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter. This is a full-time permanent role.
You will join an experienced team of fitters and receive excellent training with the possibility of moving up and taking on more responsibility in time. You will be joining a very established business that has been serving the Irish farming community for over 50 years.
This role will be based in a busy and fast based production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and helpto minimise equipment downtime.
Duties to include
* Repair and maintenance of machines to include elevators , conveyorsand rollers.
* You will also be involved in some new plant installations.
* Replacement of broken or worn parts.
* Cutting & welding
* Working in a team environment
Candidate profile
* Time served fitter
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Residing in South Offaly / North Tipperary / Laois area
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 6 pm. There will be occasional Saturday work where you will be paid overtime.
This role will suit someone living in North Tipperary /South Offaly / Laois area
