Our client, based a commutable from Mitchelstown, Mallow, Cork city, East Cork, requires a maintenance plant fitter.
This full time permanent position has come about due to an increase in work orders, and an extra shift being added.
Youwill be joining an established multi national company, who has a process facility in Cork.
You will be working on heavy process plant, motors, gearboxes, chain drives, hydraulics, pneumatic and boilers etc.
You will be a qualified plant fitter or Maintenance fitter, who has experience gained working with heavy plant and equipment OR an apprentice looking to complete your apprenticeship OR a plant fitter or heavy equipment mechanical maintenance person.
This shift fitter job requires an experienced factory or plant maintenance fitter OR an apprentice looking to complete your apprenticeship OR a plant fitter or heavy equipment mechanical maintenance person, who is prepared to work 24/7 shift pattern, average 39hr work week.
Duties will include:
* Ensuring equipment is well maintained to ensure maximum uptime by carrying out routine maintenance and inspections.
* Ensuring anyspares used are documented so replacements can be sourced
* Supporting a wide range of equipment
* Supporting with plant upgrade and continuous improvement projects.
