Are you a driven and experienced maintenance professional seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact? Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Manager and play a pivotal role in driving our plant's overall performance objectives.
As part of our senior management team, you will lead a multi-disciplined maintenance team and ensure the achievement of volume and quality targets in our production operation.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:
Lead, Coach, and Develop:
* Inspire and guide your maintenance team towards achieving their goals andobjectives.
* Utilize your proven leadership skills to nurture their talents and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Maintenance Excellence:
* Take ownership of all site maintenance activities and establish a fully functional Planned Maintenance System.
* Apply a systematic approach to engineering maintenance, ensuring the availability of appropriate resources, assets, and time.
Safety and Compliance:
* Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, including H&S, COSHH, risk assessments, and manual handling for all maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with UK regulatory standards.
Engineering Performance:
* Provide training in a range of preventative maintenance techniques to drive engineering performance targets.
* Utilise your excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and build strong relationships across all plant functions.
Effective Management:
* Collaborate with HR and Company policies to effectively manage your team, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
* Successfully manage all direct reports and take responsibility for the activities of external contractors on-site.
Budget Control and Performance Monitoring:
* Manage maintenance spares and control themaintenance budget.
* Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to routinely monitor and improve performance, ensuring operational excellence.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Maintenance management/supervisory experience.
* In-depthknowledge and application of UK regulatory standards.
* Proven management experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a track record of effective leadership.
* Proficiency in using a CMMS and competent in IT usage.* Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individuals and teams.
* Experience in budget control.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities with lean/continuous improvement qualifications.
* Experience in high volume manufacturing.
* Familiarity with SAP PM module
