Mechanical Estimator - Sheffield - £50k-£60k & £5k Car Allowance
Reporting into the Operations Manager within the M&E Division we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our clients team and provide comprehensive support to the Mechanical department. As a Mechanical Estimator, youwill play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of estimating within the department.
Responsibilities:
* Gather proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare work for estimation.
* Study proposals, plans, specifications, andrelated documents to identify labor, material, and time requirements.
* Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to compile accurate cost estimates.
* Collect and analyze information to resolve any discrepancies.
* Assemble and display numerical and descriptive information to present prepared estimates.
* Create special reports summarizing information and trends through data collection and analysis.
* Maintain a cost database by accurately entering and backing up data.
* Keep a log of allestimates coming into and leaving the business, analyzing win/loss rates and reasoning.
* Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
* Provide support to the business as requested by Directors or Management.
