Project Manager (Mechanically Biased) - Hybrid / West Midlands - £38,000 - £49,000
Concept have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanically biased Project Manager to work for our long-standing client based in the West Midlands region. Our client specialises in providing HVAC and Hot & Cold-Water services including sanitaryware to well-known organisations all throughout the UK. A big part of this role will involve managing all facets of a project, to meet the Client's objectives on time and within cost. It will involve you to organise people, tasks, and supplies to bring about a winning delivery within the range of each individual project scope.
Duties:
* Manage the installation of HVAC & Mechanical Projects throughout the UK.
* Site Management of personnel to ensure systems are being installed correctly.
* Meet with Clients to arrange timescales.
* Ensure a schedule is created for the installation project.
* Provide Health & Safety RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statement).
* Plan and manage resources, both subcontract and direct labour.
* Read and Mark up drawings to determine positions of theequipment internally and externally.
* Arrange final commissioning completion so the paperwork is ready for handover.
* Managing a number of projects ranging from £20k to £1m.
Personnel / Qualifications
* A good understanding of Heat recoveryventilation and Flow rates on duct runs and determining whether to utilize a fan with a heater battery or a full HRVR.
* Someknowledge surrounding cooker extraction including baffle filters, carbon filters and UV application would be desirable.
* Theideal candidate would have knowledge of Daikin, Toshiba and Mitsi.
* Must be able to work on own initiative.
* Must be ableto work to deadlines.
* CSCS Card Holder
* ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) preferred
* Must be computerliterate, self-motivated, personable and able to work independently as part of a team and liaise effectively at all levels
* The successful individual should have excellent written and verbal skills, be fully IT conversant and must be competent with working from CAD drawings
* Ideally you will be based within a close proximity to the West Midlands region, however, this is not essential as a hybrid approach can be accommodated.
