Description:
The Role:Reporting to the Lab Manager, you will carry out physical testing of client products to evaluate performance, providing detailed breakdowns of failures for product development and ultimately industry certification.
Daily Duties:
* Physical "attack" testing to understand durability and performance level (this includes using a variety of hand & power tools and general mechanical methods).
* Generation of reports breaking down details such as; Area of failure, processes used and time to failure.
* Liasing with clients, prioritising workloads
* Support to the testing jigs and mechanical systems used including; Maintenance and offering, designing and implementing improvements.
The Candidate
* A Mechanical qualification is preferred (level 1 +), however good exposure to mechanical systems within a role can be considered.
* Testing experience would be beneficial but can be trained.
* A strong level of physical fitness is a must as most testing process involve an element of prolonged physical exertion.
* Candidates must have a "Can-Do" attitude, good work ethic, and sense of pride and ownership.Benefits
