Operations Manager (M&E) - Sheffield/Hybrid - £65k-£70k & £5k Car Allowance
The role of Operations Manager is to lead multi-disciplined teams in the delivery of multi-disciplined projects. The Operations Manager will ensure excellence in all areas of delivery, financial reporting, profit generation and the development of directly reporting staff. In addition, the Operations Manager will create a fit for purpose working environment, career development plans and an open and honest communication policy.
Key Responsibilities:
*Overall responsibility of HSQE
* Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the business
* Oversee direct reporting managers on client engagements
* Review high level deliverables across multiple projects
* Minimise the companies exposure andmitigate risk across the business
* Maximise profit margins by always exploring delivery efficiency's and by using alternativeinstallation methods and materials where possible
* Compare financial data for projects to that of other projects and seek ways to maximise revenue
* Analyse and review all working practices and procedures
* Time Management and Resource Management* Constantly review staff performance, increase and reduce resource to suit workload
* Accurately forecast revenue, profitability and margins across projects
* Assist in the evaluation and redesign of offerings
Skills/Experience:
* Proven trackrecord within the M&E Sector
* Possess the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change to the benefit of the business.
* The pursuit of excellence and innovative thinking
* Able to advise and mentor management resource
* Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings and scope of works
* FinancialAwareness
* Line Management and People Management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Package:* Basic salary of £65k-£70k per annum
