Description:
A growing and exceptionally busy manufacturing company within the Milton Keynes area are seeking to recruit a Preventative Maintenance Supervisor to join the business after a company restructure.
Due to the rapid growth and unprecedented levels of business,this company have seen increased stress on the machinery and less availability for Maintenance. This role is to remedy this situation.
Along with the expansion of the maintenance team this role will work proactively to maximise the effectiveness of the maintenance team within available machinery downtime.
The Preventative Maintenance Supervisor Role:
- Manage and prioritise the workload within the Preventative Maintenance Engineering team.
- Work closely with Engineering stores to maintainan effective stock level and control system.
- Utilise the maintenance planning system to maximise efficiency
- Compilationof relevant data from the Engineering function to refine the Engineering planning.
- Refine planning methodology and systems.- Work closely with the Engineering Manager to consult and define strategic departmental direction.
The successful Preventative Maintenance Supervisor:
- The successful Engineering Supervisor will have relevant experience from within a Manufacturing organisation.
- You will possess strong numerical competence and attention to detail and naturally seek to use data as the basis for decision making.
- Ability to confidently and effectively coordinate a small team of Engineers, leading by example.- The ideal Preventative Maintenance Supervisor will have a qualification within an Engineering discipline, Mechanical or Electrical.
- You should have experience within a similar technical / Engineering planning/ Coordination role.
- A strong understanding of H&S standards
- Have a fundamental understanding of how Manufacturing maintenance operates.
- Planning & Coordination of maintenance activities on site, assigning Maintenance Engineers with suitable tasks.
