Are you a seasoned and dynamic Project Engineer seeking a new challenge? Join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of projects for specific customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to Security Systems installations across customer premises. Travel within Europe and occasional stays are part of this dynamic role.
Primary Role:
The Project Engineer (PE) will collaborate with specific customers to oversee project operations throughout Europe. Depending on workloads, there may also be a requirement to continue as a Senior Installation Engineer. This multifaceted role involves extensive travel and demands flexibility in adapting to changes within the company and fluctuations in workload. As part of a dedicated team, the PE will supervise the workforce, serve as the senior installation engineer, and ensure compliance with design/specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborating closely with the Operations Director/Manager to plan, schedule, install, and handover projects.
* Reviewing new project files to ensure a comprehensive understanding of contract conditions and documents.
* Confirming that specified equipment aligns with a working and suitable system in coordination with Sales and the Customer.
* Notifying the Project Manager and Operations Director/Manager of any changes to predetermined programs and schedules.
* Jointlymonitoring the profitability of projects with the Project Manager.
* Monitoring the progress of the team's work and advising the Project Manager of any changes through regular 'Project Reviews.'
* Ensuring customers and interested parties are kept informed of project progress.
* Providing or organizing relevant customer training and ensuring completion certificates are signed.
* Ensuring timely provision of all applicable documentation at the handover to the client.
* Informing the Service Managerof pending project completions for handovers or attendance as necessary.
* Collaborating with the Service Manager for remedial or new installation works.
* Providing feedback for efficient customer invoicing schedules.
* Continuously assessing and maintaining stock levels, ordering required parts, and managing stock appropriately.
* Completing daily expenses sheets and submitting them by the 20th of each month.
* Maintaining a company vehicle in accordance with 'Vehicle Operating Rules.'
* Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, inside and out.
* Keeping the mobile telephone in full working order andcharged for any working period.
* Maintaining personal and company tools to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
* Dressing professionally and carrying identification at all times.
* Fulfilling any reasonable requests from management.
What you will need;
* Project experience in CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms
* Happy with frequent European travel* Full Driving Licence
