Project Manager - North of England & Scotland - £40k-£50k
Our client, a leading provider of advanced alarm and communication systems, bed head trunking, and fire alarm systems in the acute healthcare and custodial sectors,is seeking a skilled Project Manager. As a FTSE 100 company, they are dedicated to making the world cleaner, safer, and healthier.The Role: Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects in the North of England &Scotland. This is a remote-based position with occasional travel to sites throughout this area, for training and management interactions. The projects involve installing factory-built equipment in healthcare and custodial environments, ranging from superficial uplift programs to complex installations as a subcontractor to national construction organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects, typically ranging in value from £5,000-£250,000.
* Oversee end-to-end project management, including site survey, coordination with sales agents, H&S management, customer liaison, financial reporting, and project timeline management.
* Hand over completed projects to the Aftersales team.
* Handle project financial processes, including invoicing, applications, subcontractor valuations, and payments.
* Utilize project management methodologies and produce weekly status updates.
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold SMSTS or equivalent safety qualification/site accreditation.
* Experience in Fire Alarm, Nurse call, data communication systems.
* Previous project management experience in a construction environment, preferably with electrical or IT fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
* Familiarity with site protocols and H&Sprocedures.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to read drawings/CAD.
* Full clean driving license and DBS clearance.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organized.
* Flexibility to work flexible hours as required by the project.
