Description:
The Quality Engineering role:
- Develop products through the FMEA and APQP processes.
- Work within the Quality Assurance team to pro-actively solve internal manufacturing issues and resolve product deviations.
- Investigating product failures, establishing liability, containment, root cause, corrective actions and preventative actions.
- The customer focused quality engineer will work primarily on product specific issues but should be equally aware of the wider quality system requirements and be able to feedback and update documentation where required.
The Successful Quality Engineer:
- Must have worked within a similar customer focused quality role preferably within a highly regulated sector but open to all.
- Experience of working with "mechanical" products
- Strong knowledge and proven experience of APQP Process and the generation of all associated PPAP documentation.
- Have a strong understanding of quality problem solving tools like 8D, and 5 whys.- Report writing and great communication skills and an ability to analyse data sets within Microsoft excel is essential for this role.
- Will be qualified to a minimum of ONC / level 3 within a relevant engineering discipline or have significant experience and IQA qualifications.
**You must have UK resident status for a period of 5 years for Security clearance purposes.**Benefits
