Description:
Refrigeration Engineer - London - £35,000 - £40,000 Base + Plenty of Overtime available (Realistic Potential Earnings: £50,000 - £60,000) + Bonuses & Benefits.
Our Client is one of the leading suppliers of commercial catering and refrigeration equipmentin the UK. They are seeking a candidate who can proactively support them as one of the UK's top suppliers of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical skills and be able to provide reports andsafety assessments in compliance with our client's standards.
In addition to technical expertise, our client values interpersonal skills and the ability to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professionalfitting, planned maintenance, and emergency repair service to customers while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Duties:
* Repair and conduct fault finding on commercial catering equipment
* Interact with clients in a professional mannerand complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time
* Go the extra mile to engage customers and find solutions
* Work closely with the office Service team and meet customer service levels
* Drive implementation of engineering best practices, processes, procedures, and tools
* Carry out regular stock management of parts and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
* Maintain a professional approach and be a model brand ambassador when on customer's site
* Communicate effectively and efficiently with product manufacturers and suppliers to identify correct parts on site
* Demonstrate high standards of working practice and a flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative.
Qualifications:
Essential:* C&G 2079 (FGas & ODS) certification
* Full driving licence
* Strong interpersonal skills
* IT proficiency
Desirable:
* COMCAT 1 & 5 certification
* CONGLP1 PD certification
* C&G 2382-15 (17th Edition) certification
*Experience with combiovens, microwaves, and warewash equipment.
Package:
* 42-hour contracted week
* All overtime paidat a rate of 1.5.
* Plenty of Overtime available (average 15 -20 hours per week)
* On-call rota of 1 in 4, paid £100 for the full week
* Double pay for working on a Sunday,
* Paid door-to-door.
* Company van provided for work purposes, completewith a fuel card and mobile phone
* Monthly MAD awards of £100 to recognize your outstanding performance.
* Annual award of2.5% salary bonus, based on Company targets, to show our appreciation for your contributions.
