Regional Facilities Manager - £45,000-£52,000 - Midlands, Home Counties or Norwich/Essex
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) to lead our clients technical teams in delivering outstanding PlannedPreventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive maintenance services. As an integral part of the team, you will manage techniciansand build strong client relationships to ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cultivate an effective team culture that aligns with the company and client's values.
* Foster a culture of behavioral safety within the region, emphasizing reporting and investigating potential hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents.
* Represent the company in a professional manner, establishing positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure 24/7 coverage of allsites for both reactive and planned maintenance services.
* Provide technical support and coaching to RMTE Supervisors.
* Identify and implement action plans to improve performance against KPIs.
* Guarantee the availability of necessary tools and equipment for effective maintenance operations.
* Support the Divisional Manager in technical, people, and FM process matters.* Provide cover for the Divisional Manager during absences, holidays, and meetings, as needed.
* Maintain compliance with alldocumentation and promptly resolve any non-compliance issues.
* Handle Helpdesk calls efficiently, ensuring adherence to SLAsand escalating issues when necessary.
* Participate in site project meetings related to trials, renewals, or remodels as required.
* Communicate regularly with customers, delivering updates on FM activities within agreed KPIs.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, health & safety legislation, and legislative changes affecting the role or team.
* Assist in the recruitment and selection process for Supervisor / Technician vacancies within your area.
* Utilize CAFM and other systems as instructed to streamline operations.
* Ensure accurate logging and closure of jobs in the CAFM system upon completion.
* Review MI for your area to ensure key customer KPIs are met.
Requirements:
* Technical background: Experience in hard FM is essential.
* Ideally qualified in electrical installation/maintenance, HVAC refrigeration, or plumbing.
* Membership of CIBSE, BIFM, or equivalent is desirable.
* Solid understanding of service and repair requirements for electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Familiarity with maintenance services in the FM industry, preferably in a multi-client contracted environment with PPM and compliance experience.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to develop client relationships at astakeholder level.
* Strong PC literacy and experience in working with a CAFM system.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective planning, organizing, prioritization, and project management abilities.
* Results-oriented, taking accountability for own performance and team's performance.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Highlyflexible, self-starting, and able to manage financial budgets.
