Are you a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity within a heavy manufacturing environment? Do you possess a strong background in optimizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and improving overall operational efficiency?If so, we have a rewarding position available for you with a leading heavy manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
* Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in maintenance practices, procedures, and workflows.
* Analyze equipment performance data, including failure rates, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR), to identifyopportunities for enhancement.
* Lead reliability-focused initiatives, such as condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and asset management programs.
* Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
* Conduct equipment reliability audits and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
* Participate in the planning and execution of maintenance and shutdown activities to ensure maximum uptime and minimal disruptions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience as a Reliability Engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of reliability engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
* Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and reliability-centeredmaintenance (RCM).
* Experience with reliability software and tools (e.g., CMMS, EAM, data analysis software).
* Familiarity with heavy manufacturing processes and equipment, such as heavy machinery, conveyors, hydraulic systems, etc.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer - CRE) is a plus.
