Resident Systems Engineer - Central London - £40,000 (OTE: £45,000 - £50,000) + bonuses, benefits
Concept Resourcing have a huge opportunity available to work for a leading organisation within the fire & security sector. We are recruiting for a Resident Systems Engineer to join their national high security division where you will be based working at a staticlocation in Central London providing service support for both corrective and routine maintenance functions to the complex Visualand Audio display and distribution systems inclusive of: CCTV, RF TV systems, RF distribution systems and Networking.

You would be working for a market leading organisation in the design, development, supply, installation, commissioning and through life servicing of intricate systems in commercial properties and public sector organisations.
What are they looking for from a Resident Systems Engineer?
As a Resident Systems Engineer, you will be site based, reporting directly to the Regional Manager. You will be required to service and maintain verticals such as CCTV, RF TV systems, RF distribution systems and Networking.
The duties to be carried out by a Resident Systems Engineer include:
* To repair, maintain andservice high security bespoke Visual and Audio display and distribution systems within company procedures, engineer guidelines and specific system requirements.
* To provide first line emergency remedial activities.
* To ensure that all working areas on site are left in a clean and tidy state.
* This is a client facing role so you must ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the installation, maintenance, and service visits prior to leaving site.
* Ensure that relevant documentation isfully completed accurately (timesheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims).
* Providing technical support to the client and associates.
* To be available for standby as required at your site.
* Ensure compliance with all Quality, Environmental Health and Safety instructions (PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, RAMS).
Personnel
* Ideally you would have a relevant qualification in the electrical/ Electronic industry. Alternatively, be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge through an assessment.
* Good standard of IT skills. (Computer Literate).
* Proven Customer Service experience.
* IPAF, ECS,CSCS, Safety Passport holder or similar would be beneficial.
* Full UK driving licence
* Able to demonstrate good technicalknowledge in all of the following disciplines: CCTV, RF TV systems, RF distribution systems and Networking.
* The ability tooperate effectively under pressure in rapidly changing Environment & circumstances.
* Must be able and willing to participate in out of hour's standby and call out rota.
Hours of work
* Monday to Friday: 39 hours per week.
* Will be requiredto cover a "twilight" shift for one week in every four (14:00 - 22:30).
* Call out rota: Will be required to cover the on-call rota for one week in every four (usually the same week as the "twilight" shift.
* Twilight shift & on call paid at: £310per week of twilight and call out.
