The Company
This well established manufacturer produce products used in the utility and construction sectors. From their manufacturing facility in Capel Hendre they manufacture products for projects across the whole of the UK.
The Role
You will be based at the production facility and report to the Project Manager. You will provide support for the manufacturing of products for each project.
The main duties include the following:
* Outline engineering and project coordination from inception to completion of GRP composite building schemes utilising in house CAD resource
* Estimate pricing and the preparation of quotations
* The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects within budget and to customer requirement
* Evaluation ofbest design and meeting client specification within a unit production system
* Liaise and coordinate with production heads ofdepartment, other technical, supervisory staff, and subcontractors
* Attend design review, production meetings and site meetings as required
* Control of design change during the client revision process and finalising customer approval for uninterrupted manufacture
* Proactive identification and correction of problems
Requirements
The successful applicant willhave the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Sales/estimating experience with Client interaction
* Experienceusing Microsoft office and other relative software such as AutoCAD
* A mechanical or engineering qualification graduate or HNDcould be of benefit but not essential
* Ability to organise and prioritise
* Ability to assimilate guidance on the job within a proactive and busy work environment
* Good communication skills
