Role Title: Senior Biomedical Service Engineer - HCA LONDON x2
Reporting To: Site Manager
Role Duration: Permanent
Purpose of the Role: Provision of daily on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within specified hospital locations. To work with and support the site / team leader in achieving contractKPIs. Complete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in Althea procedures. Support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital. Build long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff to ensure responsiveness and support.
Responsibilities:
* Perform schedules preventive maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per
* manufacturer's guidelines.
* Complete repairs as required onmedical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines
* Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined inthe Althea
* Standard Operating Procedures
* Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance
* Maintain safe working practices within the hospital environment
* Exceed contract KPI's to ensure customer satisfaction
* Assist Junior Biomed Engineer whenever required
* Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
* Directly support the site/team leader as needed

Additional duties: -
* Scheduling and completing workload for assigned customers within area
* Maintaining service documentation in line with business requirements
* Responsible for escalating and defining necessary resources to maintain equipment
* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
* Ensure data integrity within Althea management systems
* Responsible for delivering customer satisfaction
* Deal with OEM's service staffand management when required
* Maintain tools and test equipment in line with Althea Standards
* Attend customer meetings when required
* Seek opportunities to grow Althea's business
* Review ways to improve productivity and reduce operating expenditure
* Any other reasonable request or project request
Key Accountabilities:
Essential Qualifications:
* CertifiedOEM trainings
* Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.
Skills:· 3-5 years in biomedical setting.
· Patient monitoring, diathermies (electro surgery units), theatre
· tables, defibrillators, infusion & volumetric devices,
· Anaesthesia equipment, ventilation devices.
· Has worked in clinical areas andinvolving patient communication
· Competent with a broad range of medical devices
Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years' Biomedical experience
