We are currently seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our long term client to take charge of the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and servicing of a diverse range of print devices.Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with equipment installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise strong technical troubleshooting skills to address a variety of technical issues.
* Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams accurately to facilitate repairs.
* Provide excellent communication and customer service to interact with clients effectively.
* Address issues across all product ranges and providefeedback on training needs to the Technical Manager.
* Demonstrate equipment functionality and provide customer training during installations.
* Manage personal stock of relevant parts for quick and efficient service.
* Identify sales leads and manage chargeable calls to contribute to business growth.
* Gather and relay customer feedback to continually improve service quality.
* Attend relevant training courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Experience in servicing and maintaining photocopier machines, particularly Ricoh, Xerox, or Epson.
* Possess relevant certifications or qualifications in photocopier servicing.
* Good understanding of Health and Safety protocols.
* Basic technical and PC skills.
