Service & Maintenance Manager - Refrigeration - £50,000-£60,000 per annum - South Region
Our client design and build industrial refrigeration and air conditioning contractors with in- house consultancy capabilities to taketheir clients requirements from concept to commissioning, and subsequent servicing and maintenance by the team of service engineers employing a computerised maintenance management system.
Main duties of the role;
* To liaise with the service desk ona daily basis with the necessary information to maintain the engineer's diary and weekly planner and informing customers of anychanges that affects their schedule or proposed visit.
* Keeping maintenance, service tasks and working progress up to date.* Authorisation of timesheets on a weekly basis ensuring any further work or quotations are procured along with additional workthat may arise from a maintenance or service visit.
* To pursue delivery and ordering of parts through the service desk.
*To inform the service desk of all completed jobs ready for costing and invoicing.
* To ensure site log books are being kept upto date and all relevant tasks are being carried per the site PPM planner, or any other such media as specified by the company.* To review engineers Refrigerant Charge Log submissions and enter the details onto the relevant customer excel spread sheet.* To maintain the region holiday / standby rota with all participants keeping the service desk informed of any changes in holiday / standby cover and to liaise with the other regional supervisors for any additional cover when required.
* Authorisationof engineers' holidays.
* To assist engineers with technical and on site support.
* To ensure all necessary Risk Assessment& Method Statements are in place on sites before work commences and comply with the company's current Health and Safety Policy at all times.
* To keep the regional manager up to date with necessary information and if required accompany him at monthly progress meetings.
* Keeping in touch with the customer base for feedback of any ongoing problems and future prospects.
*To monitor employees under their supervision training and objectives agreed in their current appraisal.
What you will need;* Service/Maintenance Management experience within the Industrial Refrigeration industry or a time served Engineer looking tomake their first step onto the management ladder
* Qualifications and experience with Ammonia
* Full UK Driving Licence andprepared to travel to various sites from Southampton across to Essex
