Job Title: SHEQ/Health &Safety Advisor
Location: Dublin
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSHEQ/Health & Safety Advisor to join our dynamic Security Systems company based in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices across our operations.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site.
* Investigate accidents and prepare comprehensive reports.
* Identify potential hazards and propose corrective actions.
* Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to mitigate potential risks.
* Propose and implement improvements to working processes forenhanced safety.
* Ensure staff are well-versed in safety procedures and protocols.
* Regularly check equipment to guaranteesafety compliance.
* Monitor and assess environmental impacts of operations.
* Develop, review, and update safety policiesand procedures.
* Maintain a strong understanding of Irish health and safety laws and regulations.
* Provide advice and training to staff on best working practices.
* Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Understand and implement Construction Design and Management regulations 2015, particularly for Principal Contractor and Designer roles.Requirements:
* NEBOSH General Certificate is a must.
* Proven experience in health and safety advisory roles.
* Thorough knowledge of Irish health and safety laws and regulations.
* Familiarity with Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with ISO9001, ISO27001, and PSA68 standards.
* Previous auditing experience.
* Additional NEBOSH qualifications such as Construction, Fire, or Environment.
