Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineering Specialist to join our team at ourManufacturing plant in Gloucestershire. As a Maintenance Engineering Specialist, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and production teams to ensure the highest standards of plant machinery and equipment, contributing to safe and reliable production line performance.
Responsibilities:
- Define, plan, and lead maintenance tasks, including autonomous maintenance.
- Analyse Maintenance KPI data to develop a proactive maintenance plan.
- Monitor operational efficiency and reliability, implementing improvement plans.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions.
- Lead/support maintenanceprojects enhancing safety and performance.
- Log breakdowns/repairs on CMMS.
- Escalation point for Controls / PLC / Electrical plant failures.
- Ensure correct implementation of maintenance procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong Electricalbias with an ability to scope electrical control requirements and programme PLC's.
- Significant experience as a Production Line Maintenance Technician.
- Expertise in maintaining pneumatic/hydraulic or electrical/PLC systems.
- Strong analytical andproject management skills.
- Competent IT skills for project planning and presentation.
- Proven ability to lead projects within budget and time constraints.
