An exceptional Manufacturing business with a truly positive culture are seeking to recruit an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer in the Norwich area due to growth and departmental reorganisation.The Maintenance Engineer will join the business on a Weekend shift pattern which includes the following; Friday (8hour day) Saturday (12 hour day), Sunday (12 hour day) and another 8 hour shift between Monday and Thursday.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:
- Carrying out preventative and reactive Maintenance on plant machinery.
- You will be responsible for some project improvement work
- PLC fault finding on Siemens S5 and S7 and Allen Bradley.
- Mechanical work on Hydraulics, pneumatic, drives and gearboxes
Involvement with various types of Controls and drives including the following:
- Variable speed drives
- Lenze
- Sew
- Control Techniques
- Siemens ABB and SSD
- DC Drives
The Successful Maintenance Engineer Candidate
- The Engineer will be electrically biased but with strong mechanical skills and willing to utilise both when required.
- A comprehensive background in a manufacturing or heavy machinery background.
- You will be qualified to apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or HNC in Mechanical or electrical.
Salary - £43,000 Per annum
Shift - Weekend shift -2 x 12 hour Saturday & Sunday (Days) Friday (Day 8 Hours) another 8 Hours Day in the week.
25 days holiday + BH
