A successful and rapidly expanding white goods supplier are seeking a dynamic individual to join their service department within the West London / Berkshire area.
Position
We are currently recruiting for a White Goods/Domestic Appliance Engineer with experience in a professional environment to work in afield based position. As a minimum, you must be able to electrically repair fridges/freezers, washing machines, dishwashers, cookers, tumble dryers, refrigerators and hobs and covering areas in central South of England - West London, Reading and Guildford.Main responsibilities:
* Diagnosing and carrying out effective repairs on a wide range of domestic appliances within agreed timescales.
* Installing new appliances.
* Promoting the company brand and services provided by delivering exceptional customer service.
* Liaising with a dedicated office support team to manage your daily assignments, equipment and parts required.
* Managing appointment diary and timekeeping.
* Job assignment administration and reporting.
* Ordering of parts and van stock management.
Key skills and experience required:
* 5 years' experience in multi-brand appliance engineering
* Gas qualifications would act as an advantage but are not essential (CCN1 & CKR1).
* Full clean driving licence
* Knowledgeand awareness of Domestic Appliance servicing
* Experience in White Goods electrical fault finding, testing and repair
* Technical installation and repair skills
* Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently
* Ability to manage own diaryto ensure appointments are honoured
* Previous history in a customer facing role

* up to £30,000 based on 37.5 hours
