Role Overview:
As the Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop team, ensuring high-quality service delivery for IT and EPOS systems. You will lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support, while ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This is a key role within the organisation, requiring technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of technicians in an IT and EPOS workshop environment.
*Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for IT systems and EPOS hardware/software.
* Oversee the repair, maintenance, and installation of IT and EPOS systems for clients.
* Ensure the team meets performance targets, service levels, anddeadlines.
* Manage the prioritisation of work orders, ensuring efficient workflow and timely resolutions.
* Maintain inventory and manage the ordering of necessary parts and equipment for repairs.
* Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies,and best practices in IT and EPOS systems.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a technical leadership role within an IT or EPOS environment.
* Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and EPOS solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong leadership and team management experience.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer:
* £180 - £200 per day (inside IR35, these rates are the umbrella company rate subject to deductions)
* Day time working hours - Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm
