The Role
In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients across a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, converting leads into long-term clients.
* Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand client requirements and risk profiles.
* Provide bespoke commercial insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
* Present detailed insurance proposals,negotiate terms, and close deals.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
* Meetand exceed new business targets consistently.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executiveor in a business development role within the insurance sector.
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and theManchester market.
* Excellent track record of securing and growing new business opportunities.
* Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A proactive and consultative approach to client engagement.
* Adaptable to a hybrid working model (split between office and remote).
