SENIOR INSURANCE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
NOTTINGHAM
SALARY UP TO £55,000 PLUS BONUS

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Myclient is one of Nottingham's most highly respected insurance brokers who are looking to add an experienced Senior Insurance Account Executive to their commercial division which is now expanding once again. You will be taking over the book of a retiring Account Executive giving you an incredible basis to hit the ground running.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a Broking background, either as anInsurance Account Executive or Broker to join a thriving an rewarding business who are looking for people with a passion for insurance and the drive to succeed.

SENIOR BROKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Taking on an existing Book of Business of £150,000.* Growing the existing book as well as bringing on new commercial business.
* Building and maintaining business relationshipswith clients
* Trading with insurers to obtain best possible terms for our end customers.
* Scheduling and attending meetings
* Researching insurance policies and products
* Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers
* Dealing with problems constructively, looking to solve the root cause of day to day issues faced, engaging with the team leaders and management.
* Support team leader, undertaking tasks delegated where required.
* Supporting the business placement strategy laidout by the Insurer Relationship & Placement Manager.
* Adhere to the Broking Team Standards for both new and existing business.
* Ensure you have the appropriate knowledge for your role and work with your team leader to create a development plan.* Understand the culture of being an Employee Owner, the personal stake in the company's performance and how to contribute toits success.

THE PERSON:

* The individual should have a couple of year's experience working in a commercial insurance broking capacity.
* GCSE or equivalent education is required, with A Level, degree level education and CII qualifications being preferable but not essential. Experience anduse of MS Office is required, and prior experience of using Broking software world be preferable but not essential.
* Strong influence and negotiation skills will be required when dealing with insurers and Brokers.
