SHEFFIELD
SALARY UP TO £40,000 + COMMISSION & HYBRID WORKING
THE OPPORTUNITY:
GetRecruited are lucky to be representing one of the UKs premier Insurance brokers, they are currently looking to add an experienced commercial Insurance Advisor to their thriving in house team. This is a business with nearly 50 year's experience within the industry and have built a great name for themselves. They are passionate about the clients they serve and the people they employand this shows in the quality of their work.
The opportunity has arisen within their Commercial & Corporate Team. You will be responsible for servicing a book of clients with incomes ranging from £2,500 to £10,000 for a range of account executives.Typically clients will be £3-£4k income.
You will be working in a fast paced, dynamic and rewarding environment handling therenewal process from cradle to grave, dealing with mid-term adjustments, critiquing cover for the client and execs and dealing with some new business enquiries.
They work across a wide range of sectors, in particular we have a large amount of Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction and Professional clients. Classes of business will typically be: Fleet, Motor Trade, Commercial Combined, MLP, Property, Casualty, PI, Crime & Cyber.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Handling of renewals, mid-term amendments, some claims triage (although they have a in house team of claims specialists), premium financing arrangement and queries for your bookof clients.
* Be "hands on" with the broking process.
* Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and always promote exceptional customer care standards.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with insurers.
* Ensure all business activity fully complies with FCA Regulations and meets the Quality Systems & Processes
* Maintain detailed and comprehensive Acturis records.
* Discussing and assessing client's current and future insurance needs and provide expert advice.* Keep up to date with changes in the Insurance Industry including competitor offerings
* Preparing presentation of terms to be presented by Account Executives in bespoke reports.
* Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises via our online training portal and identify further areas for own development as required.
EXPERIENCE:
* Ideally have a minimum of 12-36 months experience in a commercial or corporate broking environment
* Able to effectively handle your own workload.
* Have an exceptional eye for detail.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Some existing insurer relationships would be valuable but not a prerequisite.
* Experience of using Acturis would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Have completed DipCII or be working towards and have ambition to complete ACII
