I'm working with an exciting commercial insurance brokerage with over 20 years of industry experience, looking to grow their team due to a huge influx of new business.
This is a businessthat sets themselves apart from the insurance crowd with their easy-going office atmosphere.
With several specialisms, they have a broad portfolio of business across multiple areas of commercial insurance.
This is a great opportunity for a driven individual who has experience as an Account Handler or and Account Executive or Broker to really grow and progress with the company.
THE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER ROLE:
* As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you'll be working closely with an existing portfolio of clients and following up on warm opportunities.
* Handling of renewals, mid-term amendments, and queries for yourbook of clients.
* Cross-selling existing commercial clients' additional policies suited to their business needs.
* Being "hands on" with the broking process, ensuring you are actively involved in the broking of new business to market - liaising with insurers and negotiating the best possible terms.
* Achieving and maintaining a high level of customer service and always promote exceptional customer care standards.
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with insurers, advising them on their current and future insurance needs.
* Ensure all business activity fully complies with FCA Regulations and meets the QualitySystems & Processes
* Keep up to date with changes in the Insurance Industry including competitor offerings.
* Preparing presentation of terms to be presented by Account Executives in bespoke reports.
* Conduct learning, training and assessmentexercises via our online training portal and identify further areas for own development as required.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:* Someone with at least 12 months commercial insurance experience working in roles such as; Commercial Insurance Broker, Insurance Account Handler, Insurance Account Executive or Similar.
* Can effectively handle your own workload.
* Has an exceptional eye for detail.
* Has strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Some existing insurer relationships would be valuable but not a prerequisite.
* Completed or be working towards your DipCII,
* Have ambitions to complete an ACII qualification (company funded)
