SALARY UP TO £40,000
ROLE:
We areproud to be representing a leading independent commercial and corporate insurance brokerage in the Glasgow area. Due to continued growth, They are looking to expand their corporate risk team with the addition of an experienced Corporate Risk Insurance broker. You would be joining a business keen to promote from within and a firm who offers reward and recognition to those who perform well.
A corporate risk insurance broker will be managing the daily commercial insurance requirements for a portfolio of corporate clients who operate within a wide range of sectors and industries
You'll have MTAs Renewals and new business performing open market broking exercises as well as various administrative and client enquiries.
Client reports and cover summaries,checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of your day.Working in a team of experienced corporate risk insurance brokers focused on day to day client contact and client management.RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide a market leading broking service, focused on providing quality customer service and positiveoutcomes for their clients.
* Managing the daily commercial insurance requirements for a portfolio of clients.
* Renewals, MTAs & New Business.
* To develop a strong working relationship with your brokers, our insurers and other service providers.
* Take a proactive approach to problem solving.
* To add value to our customers at every interaction.
* To deal with problems constructively, looking to solve the root cause of day to day issues faced, engaging with the team leaders and management.
* To support the business placement strategy laid out by the Insurer Relationship & Placement Manager.
* Adhere to thebroking Team Standards for both new and existing business.
* Ensure you have the appropriate knowledge for your role and workwith your team leader to create a development plan.
* Understand the culture of being an Employee Owner, the personal stake in the company's performance and how to contribute to its success.
* To understand the roles of other team members in all teamsof the business, understanding the impact you have on each other.

SKILLS:
* 3-5 years experience handling corporate & commercial clients
* A good technical insurance knowledge in commercial
* Experience within corporate risk insurance
* A team player who can adapt within a fast paced office.
* CI Qualification would be preferable
* Previous experience using Acturis would also be preferable.
