Data Quality Analyst * Reinsurance / Insurance / Financial Services * City of London * Permanent * c. £50,000 p.a. plus bonus and benefitsData Quality Analyst is required for a highly successful insurance/reinsurance company to join the reinsurance team, reporting into the Director of Reinsurance Data Quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing, ambitious company whowork hard to retain a positive family feel within the business.
This is a permanent position, working on a hybrid basis3 in the office and 2 days from home. In reward you will be paid a salary of £50,000 p.a. plus bonus and benefits.
The successful Data Quality Analyst must have:
* Outstanding analytical skills.
* Data Quality experience ideally within insurance/financial services.
* Advance Excel skills.
* Degree or equivalent.
* Experience within insurance/reinsurance market would also be highly beneficial.
Data Quality Analyst duties include:
* Utilise, develop and maintain internal data diagnostic tool to regularly record, monitor and report data completeness, data quality and data integrity on all financial records to ensure:
* Consistent measurement of data completeness, data accuracy and integrity.
* Controls are reviewed and updated to attest to good governance.
* Areas of weakness that require improvement are identified.
* Appropriate rootcause analysis is undertaken, and recommendations made.
* Monitor gaps in reserve reporting.
* Work with IT provider to leverage automated routines to measure data quality gaps and inefficiencies.
* Support FP&A team with ad-hoc requests on data completion.
