THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively supporting a market leading business located in Stockport who is looking to expand their Insurance Account Handing team as part of their strategic expansion plans.
The job of a Insurance Account Handler is to offer office-based support to the Account Executives during the day to day running of their client portfolio, this would include setting up all appropriateactions required for contract renewal when this is due. The Insurance Account Handler will be the first point of contact for allclients and offer solutions to queries and issues as they arise and is expected to have the skills and knowledge to understandwhat actions are required to meet the expectations of each and every client.

THE PERSON:
Essential Skills:
* Good standard ofeducation
* Good proven sales skills
* Experience dealing with renewals and Mid-term adjustments
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Have patience, politeness and maintain professionalism working in a busy environment.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues at all levels of seniority.
* Liaise effectively with other internal departments and external insurers.
* Confidence to deal with difficult situations and to know whenappropriate, seek guidance from managers
* Good team working skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Desire to gain full understanding of products and processes and complete CPD (continuous professional Development)
* Be able to empathise and show a caring attitude.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in the Commercial Insurance sector.
* Previous experience dealoinmg with premiums 2,500 / 25,000
* Ability to problem solve
* Experience dealig with new business within a brokerage
* History of dealing with a wide number of cross class policies
