INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER / BROKER
CAERNARFON£25,000 to £45,000 & CII STUDY SUPPORT
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively supporting a specialist Insurance Broker with a substantial amount experience within the industry for over 40yrs years who are one of the top UK brokers with a hugeamount of respect within the industry. Also being part of a larger group means the opportunities for progression are exponential.
They are now looking to expand their Account Handling / Broking team as part of their wider expansion plans over the coming months following an extremely successful year.
As part of this role you'll be asked to fully support the commercial division along with the business development and account executives in the key areas of account handling and broking of existing and new business.

ACCOUNT HANDLER / BROKER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Gather necessary information from new and existing clients to enable the adequate presentation of the risk to insurers for quotation purposes
* To develop a strong working relationship with your brokers, our insurers and other service providers.
* To trade with insurers to obtain best possible terms for our end customers.
* Liaise and build relationships with insurers and customers - both internally and externally
* Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposalsfor insurers as required, ensuring that all client records are adequately maintained in line with the companies procedures
*To deal with problems constructively, looking to solve the root cause of day to day issues faced, engaging with the team leadersand management.
* Support team leader, undertaking tasks delegated where required.
* Adhere to the Broking Team Standards for both new and existing business.
* Ensure you have the appropriate knowledge for your role and work with your team leader tocreate a development plan.
THE PERSON:
* Previous commercial, account management experience
* Insurance qualification i.e. Cert CII or above
* Proficient in operating Acturis/ Open GI and insurer quote engines
* Understanding of FCA regulation
* Strong influence and negotiation skills will be required when dealing with insurers and Brokers.
