* Business Operations Manager
* Up to £72,500 per annum depending on experience
* Contract role starting ASAP and running through to June 2024
* Role based in Enfield - hybrid working 3 days a week on-site
This Tech Giant is looking foran experienced Business Operations Manager / Programme Manager to join an Engineering Site in Enfield. This is a strategic rolewhere you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing growth opportunities for long-term value creation.
You will support key initiatives to improve employee engagement and drive strategic value for the site. The position required an individual who understands how to get things done through influence by leveraging your extensive interpersonal and collaborationskills.
The successful candidate must have experience in strategic planning, project execution, building relationships and working with executives at all levels.
You will have strong analytical/problem solving skills, demonstrated success in driving complex strategies and projects, outstanding cross group organisation skills and agility, strong project management skills and be a motivated self-starter.
Experience working with engineering teams would be a big bonus.
Responsibilities
Key Stakeholder management
* Developing and managing a master site stakeholder matrix and engagement plan. Creating the rhythm and content for these engagements and executing on key employee engagement activities.
* Mobilising the cross-site leadership community in evangelising Engineering Enfield's assets with their internal and external stakeholders and leveragingall available opportunities to showcase the site's capabilities with customers and partners.
* Developing an end-to-end experience for executives' site visits to showcase the unique value proposition of the site's capabilities and cross business connectedness.
Strategy Development
* Creating the programmatic structure that ensures all Leadership Team priorities and goals are being delivered as planned, meeting the strategic outcomes and KPIs. Identifying where some goals are slipping and takingappropriate mitigation action to get these back on track.
* Supporting the leadership team in delivering site strategy.
Building business cases, employing internal and external industry-standard benchmarking and analytical data to support strategic business development for the site.
Program Management
* Orchestrating the regular leadership team meetings to optimise these engagements and drive impact.
* Facilitating yearly planning cycle to help drive strategic planning and orchestrate business evaluation sessions.
* Protecting organizational value by keeping information strictly confidential as appropriate.Skills and experience required:
* Excellent executive presence and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* At least 5 years of industry experience in a similar role
* Experience and ability to develop and implement business development strategies to grow Enfield's business capabilities and footprint.
* Experience in HR or Finance is an advantage as you willwork with headcount and budgeting
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
* Ability to work well on a number of different tasks - sometimes with conflicting deadlines.
* Ability to hold others accountable on project deliverables.
* Leading and managing virtual teams across internal and external organisational boundaries. Ability to operate effectively at all levels.
* Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable moving from the strategic tothe tactical.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and navigate through uncertain situations to drive for clarity.
* Ability towork independently and autonomously.
