Job Title: Fleet and Asset Co-Ordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Fleet and Asset Co-Ordinator. This permanent position is based in Portlaoise and reports to the Regional Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in managing fleet and asset maintenance proactively, ensuring all logs and monitoring systems are accurately updated.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fleet Maintenance: Collaborate with service managers and workshops to maintain accurate fleet maintenance schedules and update service records on AssetMinder, including job costings.
* Purchasing & Expenditure: Raise and receipt purchase orders for parts, spares, and third-party maintenance expenses. Monitor and manage expenditures on third-party tyre contracts, fleet contract hire, and trailer hire, ensuring invoice accuracy and resolving depot-related queries.
* Compliance: Oversee insurance and RFL renewals for all vehicles, liaising with third-party providers to ensure compliance.
* Record Keeping: Manage vehicle records per fleet maintenance policies, scheduling maintenance with internal and external providers.
* Fuel Monitoring: Participate in implementing a fuel monitoring program.
* Support & Quality Control: Aid regional management in vehicle, plant, and equipment replacement programs. Establish and review fleet maintenance practices and procedures, ensuring quality control.
* Health & Safety: Ensure the Health and Safety and Welfare of co-employees and the public using the premises.
* Performance Management: Engage in the Performance Management process to meet personal and team objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Relevant cards and licenses required; B License Holder necessary, C License desirable.
* Exceptional communication and numerical skills.
* Strong analytical and presentation abilities, with the capability to explaininformation clearly.
* Proficiency in English and eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Experience in the waste industry is a distinct advantage.
