· Up to £38,000 per annum
· Initial 6 month contract
· Role working on-site at their BurtonFactory with 1 day a week from home
Working for a global FMCG company we are recruiting for an experienced Supply ChainPlanner to join their team in Burton.
This role is working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week and working 4 days a week on-site and 1 day a week from home. This is an initial 6 month contract and we are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Job Responsibilities:
Material requirement planning responsibilities:
* Ensure materials availability for the production lines* Run exception and outstanding deliveries report on a daily basis
* Update week on week material requirement planning (MRP)* PO creation
* Inbound deliveries booking
* Refer to AERA recommendations with regards to safety stock and PO reschedulingskills
Materials inventory management responsibilities:
* Materials stock management in the warehouse
* Stock levelsmanagement to meet inventory targets
* Stock levels management in line with the seasonality of our products
* Minimisation of business waste to meet obsoletes targets
* Coordinate provisions process with finance team and category team
* MOQs analysis based on the demand, take actions with production planners and procurement
* SAP hygiene, coordinate actions with logisticsteam and quality team
Education & Work Experience
* Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred but definitely not essential
* Preferred previous experience in Supply Chain (production, materials and dispatch planning) ideally 3+ years experience
Skills:
* Advanced SAP and Excel (pivot tables and vlook ups) knowledge are essential
*Autonomous working and decision making
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to deal with complexity andambiguity
* Ability to work together with cross functional teams (operations, quality, finance, procurement)
* Problem solving
* Communication skills
