Job Opportunity: Transport/Distribution Planner
Location: Little Island, Cork

Salary: Up To €57k/year, paid monthly

We're hiring a Transport Planner for our client's Little Island office, a crucial role in their transportation team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create optimised routes considering distance, time, traffic, and customer needs.
* Accurate data input and processing of documentation.* Schedule and coordinate orders to maximise efficiency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues promptly.
* Monitor and track route performance for improvements.
* Collaborate with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
* Provide recommendations for future route planning and logistics optimisation.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operationalefficiency.
* Resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery.
* Utilise logistics IT to analyse and optimiseprocedures.
* Monitor delivery time lines and productivity, addressing issues as needed.
* Perform other administrative duties as required.
