Kenect Recruitment is looking to hire an evening / night time Delivery Van Driver in Dordon, Tamworth!
(Permanent position available for the right candidate)
Shift pattern: PM shifts | Sunday - Friday | 17.00pm to finish
Salary: £11.95 - 15.94 per hour - Holiday pay accrued at a rate of 12.07%
"Our client's distribution network comprises of 18 depots nationwide, enabling them to make over 11,500 daily deliveries of chilled and frozen produce to third party customers".
About the role:
From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our clients customer's need fresh stock - daily, and you couldbe part of their nationwide team making some of the 3.5 million deliveries each year, keeping Britain fed!
You would be expected to work five days per week, which would include mandatory Sundays. With this shift pattern, there will be no Saturday work and a rest day off in the week on rotation.
On-the-job training is provided, and you will be partnered with another team member to begin with. If you are keen to progress, our client can also offer development opportunities to further your career.
Role Details:
· Shift Times: 5pm start, with the route planned in at 8-10 hours long
· Overtime: Premiums are payable after 42 hours worked per week at time and a quarter
· Shift Pattern: Full time, any 5 out of 7 days including Sundays (No Saturdaywork)
· Workload: On average between 6-8 drops per shift
Requirements:
· Must hold a valid UK cat B1 driving licence for a minimum of 6 months
· Must have experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle (ideally refrigerated but not essential)
· Mustbe prepared to work PM shifts and Sundays
· Must have no more than 3 points on license for minor offences
· Must be prepared to attend a driving assessment including a Highway Code test prior to starting
