Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative - Plumbing & Piping Industry
Our client, a leading company inthe plumbing and piping industry, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team in the North Cork City area.Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, accurately picking and packing orders, and assisting customers at the trade counter. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Requirements
* Experience: 2+ years of previous warehouse experience incl. use of ERP computer system
* Product Knowledge: Familiarity with plumbing supplies, including pipes, fittings, and valves, or similar materials.
* Forklift Operation: Valid forklift license preferred, but candidates with forklift experience needing a refresher will also be considered.
* Positive Attitude: A team player with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
* Light assembly and fabrication work to meet specific customer requirements (training provided).
* Receiving supplier deliveries and updating the ERP system as needed.
* Managing the trade counter, ensuring excellent customer service.
Position Details
* Salary: €35,000 - €40,000 per annum (DOE)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends or night shifts)
