Description:
We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the product flow in an automated Distribution Centre, ensuring appropriate inventory levels, storage, and stock rotation.
As the Supervisor, you will manage a team of Deputies, Selectors, and Logistics Assistants. You will be responsible for maximizing efficiency, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a highly performing team. Under your guidance, the team will be focused and ready to tackle every challenge within their area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operational product flow requirements through the automation systems, including stock availability.
* Monitor upcoming work for the team and provide an estimate of future resource requirements and constraints.
* Maintain a detailed understanding of the functionality and operation of equipment.
* Accountable for stock rotationand reviewing product slot management.
* Monitor the quality and velocity of work produced by the team.
* Participate in/initiate discussion on improvements and recommendations with cross-functional teams.
* Actively contribute to the process of continuous improvement within the team.
* Manage the day-to-day running of the team, including carrying out regular team meetingsand 1:1s with all team members.
* Inform the National Supply Chain Management Department of products that are not complying with Health and Safety or internal standards specifications.
* Attend regular planning meetings with cross-functional teams.* Ensure that development standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to.
* Manage the optimal resources required in the team.
* Review stock allocation and stock investigations (short dated/non-moving stock).
Skills & Qualifications:
*GCSEs/A-Levels or equivalent.
* Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
* Automated warehouse/similar role.
* Technical expertise to manage quality and accuracy of data.
* Team Management.
* Confident communicator.
* Detail-focused.* Excellent time management.
* Experience in operating warehouse management and warehouse control systems.
* Proficient in Excel and Word.
* Experience operating warehouse management and warehouse control systems.

Salary: £42000 - £45000 per annum
