Description:
Work Wales are working with one of the largest independent metal printers in the UK. This company supply national and international brands as well as metal packaging manufacturers.
In this role you are responsible for leading the Production Planning activity for a busy production facility based in Swansea. One of your main responsibilities will be to create and maintain aproduction schedule that meets customer needs and effectively utilise available production equipment and people. You will communicate directly with customers to build relationships and deliver a schedule that will meet requirements and provide regular updates on the order.
What we are looking for:
* Previous Experience in a Planning and Customer Service Role in the Manufacturing Industry.
* Responsible and conscientious.
* Handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis whilst be flexible to change.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong planning, prioritisation, organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
* Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis.
* Knowledge of ISO9001 and FSSC22000 standards an advantage.
* HACCP Level 2 Trained an advantage.
* Experience of production planning software an advantage.
* IOSH / NEBOSH beneficial.

What we offer:
* Training with consistent support from management.
* Salary: £34,000- £38,000 based on experience.
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
* 39.5 hours contract, Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00, Friday 08:30 to 14:00.
